Main to Main Trade Days: 50 Miles of Food, Fun and Shopping
US Highway 371 between Minden and Springhill, LA
The event that started it all! This is the original Main to Main event from which the statewide program developed. Visitors to the 50-mile route of Main to Main Trade Days along US Highwy 371 in Webster Parish have the opportunity to experience food specialties from homemade jams and jellies, to turnip greens and alligator; art from local artisans using local landscapes and materials, home-grown entertainment and the "folks" that call Webster Parish home. You won't want to miss this opportunity to Meet the Neighbors in Webster Parish!

loves good music. Blues and BBQ on the Ouachita
combines both! Cooks participate in a barbeque
cook-off with award winners in several categories.

Brewhaha on Bayou Road

The Brewhaha on Bayou Road celebrates New
Orleans's love affair with all things brewed. First
among these is coffee and beer! The city's rich
history of coffee and beer brewing centers on the
historic neighborhoods lining Broad Street.
Brewing techniques and the history of each in the

DeRidder is a blend of cultures, religions, traditions
and more. At La Cuisine de Beauregard, 12 local
chefs will fire up their grills and whip out their
cutting boards and knives to prepare an entrée for
hundreds to sample. There will also be a Celebrity
Chef who will capitalize on the special foods of

El Festival Espanol de Nueva Iberia
New Iberia, LA
One cup of gumbo, one plate of paella…New Iberia
will celebrate its Spanish roots as it recognizes its
founding in 1779 by the Spanish. This is the only
remaining city in Louisiana founded by the Spanish
which has kept its original name and still has Spanish
descendants. The festival will be a weekend-long
celebration with a wide variety of events. When
you Meet the Neighbors in New Iberia, you will also
meet Louisiana's Spanish history!
