About Louisiana Main to Main Louisiana Main Street communities host a multitude of cultural and heritage resources including archeological sites, State and National Parks, museums, and historic landmarks. Throughout the month of November, residents and visitors are encouraged to take road trips from one Main Street community to the next to experience the rich and diverse culture of Louisiana. Culture, recreation, and tourism events include food and music festivals, antiques fairs, art and crafts shows, performances and exhibits, holiday parades, agriculture and waterways, museum and house tours.
