I-49 - Alexandria | Louisiana Welcome Centers

Alexandria Welcome Center

Located just off of I-49, nine miles north of Alexandria, this Welcome Center is an ideal rest stop for those traversing Louisiana from either the north or the south. Travelers will find complementary coffee, restrooms, as well as picnic areas. This center is located along the southern edge of the Kisatchie National Forest and you will find a statue onsite celebrating the contribution that the Civilian Conservation Corps made to both Louisiana and the entire United States.

Directions:
From the North: Take exit 94, bear right at Rapides Station Road (cross street) turn right on LA 1. Welcome Center will be on your right. From the South, take exit 94; turn left at Rapides Station Road (cross street) then turn right on LA 1. Welcome Center is on the right.
