Description: Tradition bearer, Sabina Miller, facilitated a wax flower making workshop as a part of a Black History Month event sponsored by the Finding Our Roots African American Museum. Sabina Miller provided participants with a history and demonstration of wax flower making, as well as assistance to participants as needed. By the end of the event, participants learned to create a wax flower bouquet by cutting a pattern, assembling the flower parts, and dipping the flower in wax.
