Comments:	For 56 years I have lived one block from Cabrini and am a parishoner. My mother and father were original parishoners who raised the funds to build the church. I am in a trailer since 02-'06 in front of my Corps of Engineers destroyed family home. When this controversy erupted recovery efforts slowed to a crawl in this area as people are waiting to see if FEMA will aid the selfish preservationists efforts - what has happened to these peoples minds?.If the Holy Cross project proceeds, this areas recovery pace will resume. If not, the church will NEVER BE RESTORED. I fear for the survival of Oak Park and the Gentilly neighborhoods adjoining. What matters in this world are people, not unliving structures.( Despite what anyone from Paris, etc. thinks). FEMA etc., DOTHE RIGHT THING. LET US TEAR THIS BUILDING DOWN. It belongs to religion, not government.
