Comments: Holy Cross is a much more of a historical landmark than Cabrini church ever was! The church is about 40 years old and has almost no historical signifigance. In the late 1850's Father Moreau wrote to Brother Vincent Peau ( who at that time was at Saint Mary's Orphanage, future site of Holy Cross)

"I have followed your progress in mind and heart all along and if there is one place in which I am deeply interested and for which I have great affection, it is most certainly New Orleans. This place has experienced various kinds of hardships from the day of its foundation, but that is proof that it will also become a place of great blessing."

Holy Cross was ment to be in New Orleans. But if we cant go to Cabrini Church to host our new campus, we will be forced to leave New Orleans.

Besides, Holy Cross has a much better chance of surviving than a 40 year old church does.
