The visitors would also be able to enter the winter quarters exhibit to see how the soldiers lived. They can also try on some of the clothing and equipment the troops used. Site Staff will teach participants how to create 18th century style wampum bracelets and belts. All materials will be provided and Participants can take their projects home. Regular park fees apply. 3/7/2019 to 3/10/2019 • Forts Randolph and Buhlow State Historic Site, Pineville - Blue and Gray on the Red, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day Experience this annual Civil War re-enactment with re-enactors from five states. The four-day event kicks off on Thursday with an historic food tasting at 6 p.m. and speaker at 7 p.m. The Civil War School Day is set for 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday (contact site for registration). Battle reenactments are Saturday and Sunday along with informative talks ending with a ladies´ tea on Sunday. re-enactments are 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
