4/6/2018 • Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site, St. Francisville - National Tartan Day, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. National Tartan Day honors and celebrates Scottish culture and the role it has played in the development of the United States. Daniel Turnbull, who built Rosedown Plantation, was of Scottish descent. On this day, the site will fly the Turnbull Clan flag and decorate the house in the Turnbull Clan tartan.The public is invited to come dressed in their family tartans to help celebrate!
