TWO LIGHTS FOR TOMORROW INITIATIVE MARKS MILESTONE IN CELEBRATION OF AMERICA'S 250TH BIRTHDAY

BATON ROUGE, La. - Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser is joining other states to endorse the Two Lights for Tomorrow initiative as an America250 - Louisiana celebration. This nationwide project, happening Friday, April 18, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the march to America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026. The two lights derive from the “one light by land and two if by sea” cry representing Paul Revere’s famous ride on the night of April 18, 1775, warning citizens of impending British invasion.
