Turtle Shell
Excavators recovered 11.3 pounds of Hawksbill turtle shell on the wreck. Cut edges are visible on many pieces, some of which are thin enough to see through. The shell would have been used to make items like snuff boxes, hair combs and frames for eye glasses.
