It is with great pride and a full heart, that I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as Louisiana’s 54th Lt. Governor. As Lt. Governor, I look forward to working with tourism leaders from across the state.

As a team, we will work together to determine how to best promote all of Louisiana. I look forward to leading our great state to record breaking success in tourism.

We must invest properly to introduce “The Louisiana Experience” to the world.

There is something for everyone to experience in our state, whether it is fishing our vast bodies of water, exploring one of our museums or state parks, visiting our libraries, eating some delicious Louisiana seafood, attending a festival, experiencing all the horse industry has to offer or learning about Louisiana’s history.

Those who know me well know the passion and love I have for this state. I am looking forward to sharing that enthusiasm with all of you. As we think about Louisiana’s future, we have an enormous responsibility, and we must do what is best for our people and our state.

Our food, music, arts, culture, history and most importantly our people are what make Louisiana special. And since the past is always present in Louisiana, let us be true to our heritage while still promoting a bold future.
