DCRT consists of the Louisiana Office of Tourism, Louisiana State Parks, Office of Cultural Development, State Library of Louisiana, Louisiana Seafood, Volunteer Louisiana, and Louisiana State Museum. Programs such as the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area and the Louisiana Folklife program, along with many others programs and services, are handled by DCRT and the Lieutenant Governor's Office.

Request for Proposals – Black Bear Golf Course, Clubhouse, and Lodge, Poverty Point Reservoir State Park, and North Marina Complex Management and Operation
The Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism (DCRT) invites qualified proposers to submit proposals to operate, maintain, and manage the Black Bear Golf Course and Pro Shop (BBGC); the Black Bear Lodge, Conference Center, and Grill (Lodge); Poverty Point Reservoir State Park (Park); and the Poverty Point North Marina Complex (Marina). These four components are collectively referred to as “the Project.” The Project is anticipated to be expenditure-neutral and revenue-positive for the DCRT. Contractor(s) shall be responsible for all costs associated with carrying out the activities described within each component.
