In an effort to cater to DCRT's diverse employee onboarding needs across a geographically-broad population with continuous budget constraints, employees will now be oriented by their hiring managers on site using the Remote Hiring Manager Orientation Packet found on Channel Z.
The Remote Hiring Manager Orientation Packet is a collection of documents that will provide the basic information necessary to properly introduce employees to HR-related topics such as policies and procedures, annual learning requirements, and the Performance Evaluation System, while still explaining employee-focused resources such as perks, benefits, and retirement.
Human Resources will require a completed and signed orientation checklist for each new employee within 14 days of hire. Note - it is perfectly acceptable to perform orientation with multiple employees at once, but each employee will need to sign and send their own checklist to receive credit.
