Thanks for choosing to share this fascinating piece of Louisiana prehistory with your students!

Due to Covid-19, we have modified the contents and packaging of our teacher kits in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training. Our kits will consist of 3D printed replicas of a selection of the materials originally included in the previous kits. Printed posters and the pump drill will not be sent out at this time.

The 3D prints will be sanitized using Lysol before they are shipped to you and upon receipt to our office. We will ship the 3D prints in a padded envelope. As always, we will pay to ship the artifacts to you. However, we ask that you purchase a separate padded envelope and pay the postage associated with returning the artifacts. The cost should be much lower than in the past due to the decreased weight of the package.

All the associated lessons and videos are now online. The artifact checklist and feedback forms are now digital. You MUST complete the artifact checklist form when you receive the artifacts AND when you return them. Please download and complete half of the form upon the kit’s arrival and the other half when you return it. Email the completed document to
