The Louisiana Division of the Arts' statewide grant programs provide key investments for the creation of art and the creation of and participation in arts programs and arts projects.
**Effective April 4, 2022, the federal government will phase out the use of DUNS numbers and move to a 12-character unique entity identifier (UEI) created in SAM.gov.
The Louisiana Division of the Arts receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and is therefore requiring ALL grant applicants to have a UEI (SAM) in order to apply for a grant opportunity though one of our direct grant programs as well as sub-grant programs.
What Action Do You Need to Take?
We encourage you to register as soon as possible. After April 3, 2022, registration may take considerably more time. **
We partner with 9 Regional Arts Councils throughout the state to administer this program which provides a system for funding arts projects that meet local needs, in each region of the state.
This program supports nonprofit 501(c)3 arts organizations that help to create, present and preserve the various unique arts resources that make up Louisiana by providing general operating support.
To strive for an evaluation of grant applications founded on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility as well as knowledge and best practices, the Division of the Arts is committed to a system of peer-panel review.
