DAF provides a system for a funding arts organizations and cultural projects in partnerships with Regional Arts Councils throughout the state. 

Who Can Apply:

  • Louisana nonprofit tax-exempt organizations registered as nonprofit with the Louisiana Secretary of State.
  • Organizations with 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.
  • Local, parish or state governmental agencies such as libraries or municipalities
  • Public or private schools and school boards, colleges or universities sponsoring activities intended for community participation.
  • Individuals may apply for a Project Assistance grant by using an eligible nonprofit organization as a fiscal agent.

How to Apply: 

Grant applications are submitted online through the statewide online grant application system, www.mygovernmentonline.org.

Grant Calendar:  

  • July 12, 2019 - application deadline. 
  • August and September of 2019 - grant review panles will be held in each region throughout the state. 
  • September, 2019 - award notification will be sent out. 
  • October 1, 2019 - grant period begins. 
  • September 30, 2020 - end of grant period.
