Public Art Handbook for Louisiana Communities

The Public Art Handbook draws from the author’s (Lake Douglas – landscape architect, arts administrator, arts management consultant and author) experience managing the public art program in New Orleans. The purpose of the handbook is to provide background information and suggest approaches for public art projects. It discusses aspects and components of public art from a practical perspective. The handbook also addresses questions and situations that may arise in individual public art projects as well as ongoing public art programs. An Appendix to the Handbook is also available.
