Comments:	I SUPPORT THE DEMOLITION OF THESE BUILDINGS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1) The schools master plan has determined that Lafon will not be reopened as a school, and no other purpose has been designated; 2) the Woodson school buildings are being demolished as we speak, and a brand new elementary school will be built in their place to serve families in the neighborhood; 3) the vacant buildings represent a safety and blight concern for families moving in beginning this year, and a decision against demolition could result in these buildings languishing unused for years. The school districts will be liable for the buildings and their maintenance, when monies could be better spent on students.
