Comments:	This request brings to mind the failed urban renewal experiments of the 1960's. The current condition of this building is largely a result of the School District's lack of maintenance. Demolition as a solution to blight only temporarily removes the blight, quickly replacing it with an overgrown lot, but permanently removes an important and increasingly rare locally designed modernist building of noted design. This school can be easily marketed for potential adaptive reuse. I can see no reason why this demolition should take place.
