Name: Michael Breaux '91
City: New Orleans
Comments: ARNO said it will not reopen the church = done deal.
ARNO said it will not use insurance monies to fix building = done deal
HC has stated it will not utilize the building in it's design = done deal

Stop begging for the two to coincide. All parties have stated they don't want it that way. Who would buy a top of the line Mercedes with a rusted out, needs repair immediately, lemon of a rear end that they'll have to pump money in from day one? Not any of you.

If Cabrini is saved it will sit and rot. HC will relocate elsewhere and then the adjacent schools will sit and rot in turn. If the church building is saved and in the unlikely event money is found to fix the building then the adjacent schools will sit and rot.

Rid the area of that building and acres of destroyed property will be replaced with a state of the art high school in the stroke of a couple of pens. Otherwise, if that building is saved, in ten years it will look just like it does now.
