I guess this rant is directed to me.
I fully understand the value of mahogany. Although I don't condone the destruction of the pews, I also know that many people have lost much more. Not pews but HOMES and lives as they knew it! Next Sunday when you sit down in Mass (if you're practicing) think of those who lost everything and put a price on that. Your stance is irrelevant on several points:
1. Like many before you, you lost respectability when you began name calling.

2. The ARNO can decide to close any of its parishes and churches as it wishes. To include demolition regardless of damages received. That is not the issue here. The ARNO knows what they are trying to destroy.

3. You have never posted anything on this site pertaining to any other property under the 106 process. Is this the only building worthy of protection?

You're obviously not a preservationist you're a wooden boat enthusiast from either New Roads or Hattiesburg.
