St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, 5500 Paris Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana
Comments: I will start out by saying that I am a graduate, father of a soon to be graduate (2009) and a 4 year old that considers himself a tried and true Tiger.

After standing for 3 hours this evening listening to the Public Hearing, I have but only one question.... and please evaluate this comment without reservation.

Did ANYONE bring one historical event to the table that would deem this property worthy of historical status?

Did any Apollo Flight launch from the parking lot?
Did any famous people give any speeches there?
Is this property adjacent to Ground Zero?
Is it located in the Vieux Carre?
Are any famous Indians buried there?

Emphatically I say NO.... I did not hear anything that could be even remotely be considered historical.

Thats what this hearing was about. I did not hear any questions or comments that provided any information concerning the historical value of the property in question. I request FEMA to deny historical status based on this Section 106 and the lack of any substantial historical content of any comments made.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans wishes to relenquish this property to Holy Cross in the continuation of education of New Orleans area boys. They have no additional plans of reclaimation or preservation of this property.

This should be the last comment on this subject.
