Obviously you are not familiar with the Holy Cross family. Holy Cross has children from all areas of New Orleans, yes even from Orleans. Many of the children who attend H.C. live in New Orleans, maybe a few less since the hurricane only because they lost their homes. Holy Cross has always been a good neighbor each year participating in a Christmas in October project with their neighbors. There is no reason to think that they would not continue that tradition in their new neighborhood. When the agreement was reached to purchase the property on Paris a number of teachers began looking at propeerty in the area as well as a number of area children looked at Holy Cross for the future. To bad you and the rest of the neighsayers don't get all your facts straight before you belittle the school and the children. Holy Cross is the most diverse high schools in the city with regard to race which is also very important to the life education of the children.
