Comments: Okay, so the Cabrini chucrch is no longer a church, but an empty shell of a building. A hazard. In a community that is overcome by crime and problems, you are going to leave this building empty and standing because some people want to call it "historic". This building is ripe for homeless and vagrants and even criminal activity. It could become a health/safety hazard. On the flip side, Holy Cross is being denied the right to build on this site and offer revitalization - economic and social to the community. With a new school, there does mean traffic, but it also means people with needs for service stations, meals, and other various retail outlets. Holy Cross has been around for a long time and stands true to the word tradition. I'm sure the campus that they intend to build will be tasteful and respectful, nothing substandard. This is a no-brainer, a building empty with no money to help make something of, or a school that will bring new revenue to the community.
