Comments: From August 2002, until August 2005, I spent my 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, and two weeks of junior year at 4950 Dauphine street. Since August 2005, I have had the unfortunate pleasure to attend four different school, 6 first days of school, and a year and a half of uncertainty as to the fate of my school. To conisider St. Francis Cabrini a historical monument of a majestic and lost lasting past seems slightly absurd. Interested in seeing a real marvel? Come visit MY school anytime. As a matter of fact come sometime between 8 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. to see what obstacles have sincerely been overcome by a group of people striving for the best in an instituiton which is so close to us all. I am a senior at Holy Cross, and will be graduating in May. Sorry to say i've spent 13 months in trailers, but honestly... we've all made do with what we have. In closing, my brother is in the 6th grade, and is looking forward to high school. I would love for him to follow in my footsteps on the path to becoming a Holy Cross Man. Tear down this 40 year old "historical monument". Let Holy Cross live on, dont be the one to let it die.
