Comments: FEMA & friends of Cabrini Church this issue is not about "YOUR OLD BUILDING "VS "OUR NEW BUILDING". This issue is about EDUCATION!
The young minds that are being influenced now by the decisions that have been made and will be made by all levels of government will be the same minds that will be leading our city and country in years to come. They must be influenced to to love this city and government and to respect & trust its decisions. The only way to do this is to EDUCATE them. FLOOD DESTROYED HISTORIC BUILDINGS DO NOT EDUCATE CHILDREN their teachers, elders at home and people in government and community do.
Let Holy Cross EDUCATE!
ARCHITECT to build N.O. truly historic buildings
ENGINEER to learn to protect N.O. the "fish bowl" from floods.
CRIMEFIGHTER to protect the city of N.O.
BUSINESSMEN to rebuild and continue to build N.O. to be a finacially viable city.
INSURANCE AGENT to teach the community that if your government says you do not need flood insurance you DO.
PRIEST to lead N.O spiritually and rebuild Parishes to replace the faded ones.
TEACHER to teach the youngers of N.O. all of the struggles & greatness of New Orleans.
We have learned through the hurricane buildings come and go. This building could have been knocked to its foundation as many special buildings were and this would not even be a issue right now. EDUCATIONS do not come and go they are forever. Floods, fires, tornados and even wrecking balls can't knock down an EDUCATION.
The most important thing the city and the country needs is EDUCATION. Let Holy Cross do what they do and do GREAT !
LET Holy Cross build their new buildings SOONER than LATER. Remember this will not be WALMART this is an EDUCATIONAL & SPIRITUAL FACILITY.
