Comments: Many people are saying save the building so we can have our church back, several things are not being realized.

1)This building is not your church, the poeple are the church
2)The Archdiocese has made it VERY clear that they will not renovate this church, if Holy Cross does not move to Paris Ave they will have everything demolished anyway, it will just not be done by FEMA and HC will not get the money to rebuild on Paris Ave.
3)The Archdiocese has said that if Cabrini Parish shows itself as a viable parish it will be allowed to reopen and build another church.

What has been done to make Cabrini a vibrant parish again? Instead of crying over this building it would be better to work on bringing back your true church, the people! Everyone keeps saying "we were locked out", so? In the beginning there was no building but the parish came together, why do you need this building to make that happen?

Saving this building is NOT going to save your parish, only you can do that.

I'm in complete shock that people who have never lived here, have lost nothing and have nothing to lose are trying to save this church. Yes you pay taxes, so do we, this has a HUGE affect on our community and lives, haven't we been through enough can't we make our own decisions about things in our community!

Please FEMA look at the majority and what we want for our community, this is about more than a building it's about people's future. Allow the demolition of this building so Holy Cross and the entire community can move forward FINALLY!

I'm in shock that this is going to drag on until the 26th!
