Comments: Understanding passions run high and we have all suffered and lost so much, we simply must put common sense ahead of emotions. When did Cabrini Church become historic? Who will fund Cabrini Church if it remains? It appears to me that was an issue prior to Katrina. I would like to return to my neighborhood, but can't----and my home is older than Cabrini! Let's use common sense, folks---Holy Cross will succeed---if we cannot find a way to save a piece of Cabrini as a memorial, then just tear it down, build Holy Cross, savor your memories and move on.....I am certain the Holy Cross people would have preferred to keep their original buildings as well---and they ARE historical. Let's get real with this--so much to do in our city and this is NOT the pinnacle---I want to come home! Petty infighting should be left to our leaders, not us--since they are so good at it
