Comments: FEMA - Please help Holy Cross in building a school that will benefit both Gretna and young men desiring a catholic education. Ms DiMeo, Mr. Architect and the others who think it is Holy Cross resposibility to keep Cabrini Church/Parish alive have you asked yourself where the Archidiocese is in helping Cabrini church/parish being rebuilt ? why the Archidiocese desanctified and cut all Catholic ties to Cabrini church (please remember HOLY CROSS did NOT do this)? why has the Archidiocese done absolutely nothing to rebuild this church and parish ? what the Archidiocese has done with the parishoners 4.million dollars (please remember HOLY CROSS did NOT take it and will NOT get) ? why the Archidiocese hasn't started a Foundation to rebuild and maintain Cabrini Church ? The Archidiocese has helped many churchs back on their feet since the storm why are they not helping Cabrini church? You are lashing out at the wrong people - all Holy Cross is trying to do is continue what they have been doing for over 125 years (talk about historical) Your questions need to be addressed to the Archidiocese and ask them why. And a stadium would be nice for Holy Cross but let's face it - we have done without one for over 125 years and never tore down the chapel on HC campus to get one. That is not HC main goal! If the church is going to be a vacant building please let progress move on so we are still not fighting this battle next school year. Please remember Holy Cross lost a lot also and we are still a family of students, parents, alumni, and faculty that share a special bond that are also trying to grow and move one.
