The Reservation Center is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST; online reservations are available 7 days a week, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CST.

Closed for all State holidays.

Please note that Mondays are the busiest day of the week for the Reservation Center, as most people tend to call that day. If possible, please make your calls on Wednesdays or Thursdays, when telephone traffic has slowed.

Discover, MasterCard, Visa, in-state checks and money orders are accepted. A $6 non-refundable fee will be assessed on each reservation made, online, via phone, or as a walk-in. An advance deposit of a single night's stay is required for each facility reserved, and must be received within ten days of the date of the request or the reservation will be cancelled. Deposits will be applied to the first night's or day's use. For reservations made 10 to 13 months prior to the arrival date, the entire reservation balance must be received within 30 days of the date of the request.

Reloadable gift cards are available, and can be purchased at your local state park or by calling the main office at 225-342-8111 . The gift cards can be purchased for any value with a $5 minimum, and are a great way to share the gift of Louisiana State Parks with your family and friends.

Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and can be made up to 13 months to the day in advance ONLINE or by calling the reservation center at 877-226-7652. Reservations within the 48-hour window can be made by contacting the park directly. Reservations are accepted only from persons 21 years of age or older. All persons under 21 years of age must be accompanied by adults when using reserved facilities.

The Reservation Center is closed Saturdays, Sundays and all State holidays. Since reservations cannot be made more than 13 months to the day in advance, then you would need to wait until the next business day to make those reservations through the Reservation Center.
