Vidalia Welcome Center

It's not difficult to imagine life on America's most legendary river in the 1800s as you watch the Mississippi roll by. Jim Bowie was a frequent visitor in his day - and locals still tell stories about the Great Sandbar Duel. The riverfront park very much echoes small town America along the river from the earliest days to the present.
