The Louisiana Percent for Art program is seeking artists or artist teams to submit qualifications to design and implement a site-specific sculpture or installation of original design on the Ogden Honors College campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

This project will serve as a beacon and gathering place at the entryway to the Honors College and should be be consistent with the college's vision, values, and mission to engage a diverse population of high achieving students in a dynamic interaction of outstanding instruction, innovative research and public service.

LSU Barnes and Noble University Bookstore

The Louisiana Percent for Art program is seeking artist or artist teams to submit qualifications to design and implement an exterior, site-specific sculpture or installation of original design at the site of the Barnes and Noble university bookstore and adjoining parking garage on the campus of Louisiana State University located in Baton Rouge.

Adjoining the LSU Union Square, the site serves as a gathering place that is frequented by students, faculty, and staff throughout the school year, as well as large numbers of visitors during special events. The project should also be consistent with the University's commitment to the generation, preservation, dissemination, and application of knowledge and cultivation of arts.

Bogue Chitto State Park

Kids Trail

The Louisiana Percent for Art Program is seeking artists or artist teams to submit qualifications to design and implement multiple animal themed exterior site-specific sculptures or installations of original design for sites along a child friendly trail at Bogue Chitto State Park in Washington Parish, LA. Existing artwork will be considered for direct purchase. Full proposal are not required at this time. This commission is open, regionally, to professional artists 18 and over.

The Kids Trail at Bogue Chitto Park will serve to connect children and families to nature through environmental education and recreation featuring entertaining hands-on outdoor discovery experiences. Animal themed sculptures or sculptural installations will become integral components at specific points along the Kids Trail that performs such functions as: interpreting its themes, providing hands-on experiences, or expressively representing the abundant fauna of Bogue Chitto.
