The General Operating Support Grant Program is on a two-year grant cycle.  Applications for the FY25-26 grant cycle have been received and are in the process of being reviewed by panelists for funding recommendations.  The list of grantees will be published in June of this year.  The next application cycle will open in January of 2026
Who can apply:
  • Nonprofit arts organization having an organizational mission statement which states that a primary goal of the organization is to create, present, or preserve one or more of the recognized disciplines. The arts disciplines include dance, design arts, folklife, literature, media, music, theatre, and visual arts and crafts.
  • Domiciled in Louisiana with a letter from the Internal Revenue Service declaring it exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501(c)3 of the Federal Internal Revenue Code, dated at least two years before the application deadline. 
  • Ability to demonstrate how the organization supports underserved populations within it's geographical community with an outreach plan that corresponds to the organization's size and mission.
