We recommend that all organizations, even if they have previously applied, discuss planned applications with Division of the Arts staff before the deadline.

  • Applications to the Division of the Arts must be submitted online through Louisiana Office of Cultural Development GO Grant system (GO). All Support and Supplemental materials must be uploaded with your grant application on GO.
  • The online application must be submitted and accepted through GO by 5:00 pm CST, on March 15, 2016. A printed and signed copy of the signature page must also be received by close of business on March 25, 2016 in the Division of the Arts office. Do not send a printed copy of the entire grant. Only send the Signature Page. This is not a postmark deadline. This is a hard deadline.

  • Click here for the application on GO.
  • Organizations should first determine who will submit the application. That person should then create the organization's profile and be the contact person. After the profile is completed, applicants may then fill out the application. Once you have created an organization profile you can create an application. To create an application, view Open Applications under the My Forms Content tab. To access an application that is already in progress, click on My Data under the My Forms Content tab.
  • A complete application must be submitted online through the GO system. The signed, printed copy of the application signature page must be mailed. The budget detail, list of board members, IRS Letter determining 501(c)3 exemption, samples of work, and supplemental materials must be submitted online.
  • Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. An application is considered incomplete if it is submitted online and a signed, printed signature page is not mailed to the Divsion of the Arts office by the deadline.
  • Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
  • Application must be signed by two authorized members of the organization. Applicants should note that submitting a signed signature page to the Division constitutes that the signatories have read the following:
By signing the application, the applicant hereby gives assurances to the Louisiana Division of the Arts and the Louisiana State Arts Council that the applicant has read and understands all information contained in the Division of the Arts' Grant Application Guide. The applying individual or organization will administer the activities and services proposed in this application. Any grant funds received as a result of this application will be used exclusively for payment of allowable expenditures incurred for the services proposed in this application and the applicant will administer such grant funds. The applicant will comply with all rules, regulations, laws, terms, and conditions described in the Grant Application Guide. By signing this document, the individual representative of an organization is duly authorized by the governing authority of the applying organization to submit this application to the Louisiana Division of the Arts. This signature hereby certifies that all figures, statements, and representations made in this application, including any attachments, are true and correct to the best of the applicant's knowledge.
  • Use the application checklist at the end of the application in GO to ensure that you have submitted all materials.

  • Organizations may submit one application.
